Our Work Readiness Training includes culturally competent employability training where students can generate their own career portfolio, get assistance with their job search, & practice their interviewing skills, in preparation for employment. COMPACT is now offering work readiness training & paid internships to Justice-involved Young Adults.

Requirements:
System Impacted Youth
Living in North County
16-24 years old
Willing to complete a Work Readiness Certificate course
Must have permit to work in the U.S.
Must agree to work with Job Developer for Career Plan and Supervision
What does this course Include?
COMPACT offers:
Work Readiness Classes to create Portfolio (Resume, Cover Letter, Job Search, Interview Practice, Communication/Conflict resolution, higher education exploration, etc.)
Paid Trainings
Paid Internships
Assistance with college or vocational school enrollments
Mentorship
