Achievement Center
The Achievement Center Escondido is an after-school program designed to maintain community safety and promote long-term success for at risk youth. Our goal is to aid in the prevention and intervention of youth involvement with the justice system by providing a variety of services to support their success.
The program’s focus is to provide a structured, yet positive environment that allows youth to thrive through services such as tutoring/educational assistance, career exploration/work readiness training, group/individual counseling, and recreational activities (i.e. boxing, outdoor excursions, art, cooking). We also provide nutritious snacks, dinner, and transportation to and from the program.
If your youth or anyone you know is interested in joining the Achievement Center, complete the referral form or contact us!
In 2018 the Achievement Center program came to Escondido. Later the County of San Diego Probation department partnered with COMPACT to create a place where we can, “..help young people maintain positive community support, complete their education, & learn about new, lifelong opportunities,” said San Diego County Probation Chief Adolfo Gonzales.
